A logo is a symbol made with graphics &/or text, that represents a visual identity. It's what helps your customers identify you, your product, and your business. A logo should be fairly to the point (I know it's really hard to get carried away sometimes!) Similar to a logo, a monogram is a letter symbol that represents & acts as a visual identifier, most often used for initials. It typically has 2 or more letters that connect to form a single symbol. In other instances, as shown below, some monograms can be 1 letter that has been morphed to look like what that letter represents, or alone with some graphic or illustrative elements to add character. Yes, a monogram can be used as a logo provided the monogram is simple enough to print & view clearly at any size, in any format.
